Sept. 13-19
I have no idea what to do for the social action project! Listening to people talk about their ideas helped, but I am still undecided. I love animals, and the majority of the ones I have owned have been adopted so I might want to help with a shelter or adoption program. I know that a few people in the class have talked about helping animals at a shelter. I also have nephews and a niece in public schools so I have tried to think of something to do to help out. Does anybody know of any needs in public schools? Thanks for the suggestions!

I love animals, too. I also heard some people are interested in working animal shelter. Because of as a foreigner, I'm just curious where the animals from and why people abandoned them. Are they all pets or wild animal? Volunteering in the public school, it’s kind a good idea. But I don’t know what we can do. If you have some advice, could you share me?
animals at the shelter are abandoned and rescued and feral as far as i know. in schools i was thinking about contacting the volenteer coordinater (if there is one) and asking how i could help.
Man, Alison, I have no idea what I'm going to do either. Lauren said we would talk more about the project in class on Wednesday, though. I'm going to get in touch with my friend about the creek and beach cleanups and see how that goes for me. I really wanted to do something with kids and schools, but I found that a lot of that stuff required a lot more hours a week than I can manage. I know I'll find something, but I'm all anxious about it right now, you know?
